Scheduled Tasks
With Scheduled Tasks, you automate regular workflows: have hermine.ai run tasks once, daily, weekly, monthly, or on specific weekdays, e.g. creating summaries, sending reminders, or querying data.

- Toggle Enable Scheduled Tasks: unlocks the feature.
- Button New Task: creates a new scheduled task.
- Your Scheduled Tasks list: each task with a status badge (Active or Paused), assigned agent, schedule, and next run.
- Action icons per task, e.g. Run Now, Pause, Edit, and Delete.

Creating a Task in Chat
Once enabled, the easiest way is to ask hermine.ai directly:
Remind me every Monday at 9 AM to create the weekly report.
Or:
Create a summary of the most important tech news for me every day at 8 AM.
The AI recognizes the schedule and automatically creates the scheduled task for you.
Note: Creating tasks via chat only works after you have turned on the Enable Scheduled Tasks toggle.

Viewing Results
Due tasks are automatically checked and executed every five minutes. Each execution creates a new message in the linked chat, marked as Scheduled Task. In addition:
- With a Notification email configured, you receive the result via email.
- The notification center also informs you about completed tasks.
- For the Failed status, you'll find the reason in the task's error message.
Tips for Effective Tasks
- Clear instructions: the more precise the instruction, the better the result.
- Choose the right agent: use agents with access to the required tools.
- Use email: enable the email notification for important tasks.
- Mind the timezone: tasks run in the configured timezone (default: Europe/Berlin).
Tip: Combine scheduled tasks with Personal Memories. The AI then already knows your context and delivers more relevant results.
